THE BEST BOURBON BALLS

Makes approx. 2 dozen

Ingredients:

1 cup crushed vanilla wafers (Whole Foods carries a great Organic Vanilla Wafer)

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 cup finely chopped pecans

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 Tablespoons light corn syrup

1/4 cup bourbon

1/2 cup granulated sugar

Directions: 

Mix together all ingredients except granulated sugar. Roll mixture into 1" balls. 

Roll balls in the granulated sugar. 

Place in covered container and refrigerate until ready to serve. 

Note: The flavors will deepen over time, so if you have time to make them a day or two in advance, they will get even punchier!
