A custom, hand painted, and limited edition version of our bestselling Kristen Bag. This is a very special collaboration between Portland, OR based Marcher Studio and London based studio, I AM BRICK.
This bag was made with PRIDE!
This gorgeous bag is meticulously made and hand painted with specialized metallic paints. Only three of these beauties have been created to celebrate Pride month.
These bags feature special customizations that you won't find in any other Marcher bag, including a stunning emerald leather I AM BRICK branded interior pocket.
Convertible, Functional, Powerful. Kristen is ideal to carry as an everyday bag for your essentials, and is our favorite travel bag. Multiple interior pockets and exterior pockets help keep your smallest items organized and at your fingertips.
Strap options included with this special bag:
- Custom Crossbody/Belt Strap: custom color and size to be confirmed upon order.
- Chain Strap: Luxe metal chain 39" in length.
- Adjustable Chain Strap: tech luxe metal chain is a combination of metal chain and soft nylon webbing. Adjusts from 39" to 51".
UPGRADED STRAP OPTION:
- Leather Strap: upgrade to our yet-to-be-released brand new wide leather strap! Custom color to be confirmed upon order - can match to bag or one of the painted colors.
Features & Details
All exterior leather painted sections have used specialist leather paint, which is bonded and sealed using a waterproof resin. Wipeable with water and soft cloth (not rub proof or scratch proof).
Spacious main compartment holds a small wallet
4 interior slip pockets, including a special leather embossed I AM BRICK branded pocket designed to accommodate cosmetics, keys, phones, or small electronics
2 front pockets are easily accessible for smaller items
1 notched exterior back pocket is the perfect size for your phone, valet ticket, or business cards
Top entry smooth-glide zipper with extended zipper pull allows you to easily access what's inside
Velvet lining is soft and plush to protect your essentials, while stain resistant.

About Our Very Special Collaboration
A year in the works
Ideation
After landing on our concept, Melissa from I AM BRICK started exploring design ideas for the bag.
We weren't sure if we were going to paint on the pocket, or on the main body portion of the bag. After testing on paper, we landed on our final design.
Extensive Testing
As this was uncharted territory for both of us, we wanted to ensure the paint and the final techniques met our high standards. So we tested paint qualities and how the sewing would be executed.
Hand Painted in London
After our thorough testing efforts, Patti made the initial front bag panels that made their way to London for Melissa to meticulous paint by hand.
Carefully Crafted Back in the Studio
After the front panels were painted, varnished, and dried, they returned to Portland to be made into a finished bag.
Once they were back in the studio, Melissa and Patti worked through some additional product details to make them even more special. The painted pockets were carefully embossed, lining and pockets added, and carefully sewn and finished.
